“Having been on tour as an actress for the past few months, I decided it was time to get a real job! In the time it took me to figure out what that would be, I spent a couple of weeks joining many recruitment agencies in a bid to pay the bills! It was one of these days, on the way back to my car after one interview that I came across Mpeople! I decided to pop in and see if they have any work available. I met a very, very happy Emma. I was invited for an interview to met the team. The thing that struck me first was just how very happy they all were - or perhaps it was just that Friday felling!

Emma asked me what sort of jobs I was looking for –both temporary and permanent to try and get a good picture of where I would be best suited. Out of all the agencies I have used and registered with over the past few years, Mpeople were the only ones that asked me what I wanted, they didn’t try to ‘pigeon hole’ me into what they needed. Also-this seems such a simple thing-they asked me to fill in a P60 so I didn’t get emergency tax-the usual for a temp worker, and a real pain to sort out when you realise your wage is short!

Within a few days Emma rang me about a permanent job which had become available-a real gem of a job that would have suited me perfectly. She sent me for an interview and really kept on top of the client to get feedback and keep things moving, even with obstacles like bank holidays and her contact being off sick. Even when the end result of the job was not to my benefit, she really made me feel like I had done everything right, and perhaps the job just wasn’t for me! She sent me on some great short term temp jobs to keep me occupied.

As with many temporary contracts, they don’t always turn out to be what you first expected, and can quite often be ended early-when this happened to me, Emma was straight on top of the situation-she promised me a job by the end of the day-she certainly did not disappoint!

Now, that perfect job that finally presented itself, it is with happy memories that I must leave Mpeople. From start to finish the service has been personal, professional and proactive. All my queries have been sorted immediately and nothing is ever too much for Emma and the whole team. I only wish that all agencies were this good!! I have even recommended them to grandma!
