I have to say we have been given some excellent candidates for The Head in the Bucket Award. Here are just three of the stories and the winner for February.
1. Laura Hartley frantically rang Mazars last week to retrieve a deleted document she was working on. She was on the phone to poor Chris for several minutes explaining how important the document was and that he had to know a way to retrieve it before finally realising it had come through on an email and she still had it attached in her inbox!
2. During the recent swap over of Profile to Profile RPM last Tuesday evening, Samantha Whitehead was being very efficient and printed out signed for everyone in Blackburn office to say “do not switch on Profile unless told to do so”, as requested by Laura. But instead she wrote “do not switch on computers unless told to do so”. Danielle rang Samantha at 8.25am the next day to say “what’s wrong with the computers? I’ve been sat here since 8am waiting get on my computer” To which Samantha replied “I am sorry I was in a hurry and wrote “computer” instead of profile”. Danielle was not impressed to say the least!
3. On Monday 18th February it was one of the coldest days of the year reaching -6 C in some places in particular Huddersfield. Liz said the branch should buy a heater for the office. She found one in Argos which was duly purchased and set up. Paul set the clock and Jane had the heater in the back of the office. When the timer was set it didn’t work, so the team assumed it was set incorrectly and reset it for the day after. It still didn’t work! They finally discovered the heater was plugged into was Jane’s computer socket which she switches off each evening knocking off the timer! How many consultants does it take to put on the heating?
BUT THE WINNER IS JENNIE WOOD
Jennie Wood – was having a mature moment when attending the Profile RPM training two weeks ago. She went to the ladies washed her hands, put them under the “dryer” to dry rubbing them frantically when Anne Marie pointed out that the “dryer” was in fact the paper towel holder!!!!! Doooooohhhhhh – it’s this modern technology you know!
Congratulations Jennie who wins the Prestigious HEAD IN THE BUCKET AWARD - February
