WELL DONE ERICA
Fantastic News
Hi Everyone,
As you are aware people are people, not human resources and not simply personnel, Sure, we all have the skills and capabilitites to do our jobs professionally but it’s not just about that. As well as our personal touch, it’s our honest and straightforward approach that sets us apart from the competition - and it’s this unique culture, passion and drive that will ensure we’re the agency of choice.
Creating a successful commercial brand “mpeople” is our mission
What can we do to ensure we will be the agency of choice for every town/community where we choose to infect ?
Deliver our service with the above and beyond attitude !
Love what we do and show our Passion for this industry !
Share Success stories - perpetuate good practise !
How will we know when we arrive ?
What is our bench mark ?
These are branch goals - everyone should be aware what they are, where they are now, what they have left to do.
Our values need to be brought to life they must be ALIVE and visible in all our actions.
Everyone in our network - is required to know how they can assist to ensure the mission is attained.
What part will you play ?
Are you playing to your strengths ?
Share with the team what you can assist them with ie. Anne-Marie’s approach is fabulous - she certainly is able to open doors, if you are struggling to penetrate a new client then why not ask Anne-Marie to help.
Please e-mail mpeople all by close of play on friday - one strength that you can share with others, assist our business to flourish.
Hi Team mpeople
For those who are wondering what the “head in the bucket” award is - I have had many laughs with the Bradford and Wakefield teams since the inception of mpeople especially those silly moments when someone does something outstanding silly and you really just want to put your head in the bucket and laugh it off. Hence the head in the bucket award
I am keeping all these precious moments like a proud father between the teams and boy have there been some funny moments
I’m sure their are going to be more…..watch this space.
Organised by: Make Your Mark in Wakefield
A chance to get a taxi journey free! One pink taxi in Wakefield, passengers can participate in having an idea, telling an ‘ideas guru’ at the end of the telephone and if they like the idea the passengers ride is free!
There are already a great number of local services involving education, training, mentoring and start-up support. The Make Your Mark campaign aims to be a populist communications ‘front-end’ to light the initial spark of awareness or ambition that inspires young people to believe in their own entrepreneurial potential.
Make Your Mark inspires and informs young people of the opportunities that are available to them. Through connecting them to networks that support enterprise, we aim to encourage young people in Wakefield to take their ideas to the next level.
To ensure mpeople get involved with this excellent community based initiative and live mpeople’s own core values the Wakefield team have been working on “community” and applied for and been accepted as business mentors. We will each take an individual child aged 14 and work with them over the coming 2 years acting as mentor to them. Each child is on the “Aim Higher” monitoring assisting them to improve grades at school, life experiences, knowledge of industry, building relationships etc.
In addition to this Craig Storton has spent a hour running an “Interview Technique” mentoring scheme to year 11 at St John Fisher School – Dewsbury, preparing them for mock interviews which are held with Business seniors a few days later. It was clear when attending the interviews the teenagers had listened well and applied most of the ideas presented in the mentoring. These interview workshops will be held at 10 schools in Wakefield, Huddersfield, Dewsbury and Leeds.
