Sam began her career after completing her degree in International Journalism (BA) Hons, and naturally fell into Recruitment. After realising that journalism wasn't for her, she worked as an administrator for the Industrial team at Major Recruitment, where she then progressed into a consultant role.

After a short time working within the in-house recruitment team for a financial services organisation, Sam returned to the Major Recruitment family and joined the North West mpeople team in April 2017 as a Recruitment Consultant. 

What Sam loves most about Recruitment is building strong relationships with her candidates and clients. She enjoys getting to know candidates on a more thorough level to ensure that she can best match her candidates to local businesses that fit what they are looking for. People spend the majority of their lives in work so Sam believes helping somebody find an opportunity that can make them happier on a whole, is the most fulfilling part of her job.

Something a little different 

Sam has the ability to touch her nose with her tongue! She is also known as the online shopping queen as you can guarantee that at least one parcel from ASOS will be delivered to the office every week.
