Mpeople’s Office Services division is run from our Oldham office and covers the recruitment for professional services in the Greater Manchester area including Oldham, Rochdale, Bury and Tameside. The division is led by Paul Rowlands, Operations Manager, who has been working in the recruitment industry since 2005. He leads a team with over 30 years experience between them.

Paul started his career in the recruitment industry back in 2005 working for a local agency based in the centre of Huddersfield. After progressing his career, he worked for a number of agencies in Huddersfield before meeting Liz Harrison in 2003 and joining the Mpeople family to capitalize on the Huddersfield market providing professional office personnel. In 2016 Paul moved into the management role taking over the Oldham operation, driving the commercial division across the Greater Manchester region whilst still looking after the Huddersfield Market.
Tia started her journey in recruitment in September 2016 after graduating from college. Knowing she didn't want to go to university Tia joined Mpeople Recruitment as a Resourcer and Administrator for the North West branch. Since joining the company she has completed an NVQ in Recruitment and has grown in confidence. She has learnt a wide range of new skills, has worked for Payroll & Credit Control for the company but is now starting her recruitment career in the Office Services division.
Something a little different
Tia's father is half Barbadian so Tia has been on various long trips to Barbados throughout the years. Her exotic holidays to the Caribbean have obviously rubbed off as Tia is renowned by her family and friends for her homemade Bajan hot pepper sauce!

With 25 years’ experience within temporary and permanent commercial recruitment Sharon provides a thorough, ethical and honest service to both clients and candidates. She has a successful background in building business relationships both with clients and candidates. She covers the following roles:

Anna recruits for both Permanent and temporary Commercial positions in Tameside, Stockport and Manchester. Anna joined mpeople in April 2018 and she enjoys business development, relationship building and really getting to understand how she can help her candidates secure their perfect role.

Sam began her career after completing her degree in International Journalism (BA) Hons, and naturally fell into Recruitment. After realising that journalism wasn't for her, she worked as an administrator for the Industrial team at Major Recruitment, where she then progressed into a consultant role.
After a short time working within the in-house recruitment team for a financial services organisation, Sam returned to the Major Recruitment family and joined the North West mpeople team in April 2017 as a Recruitment Consultant.
What Sam loves most about Recruitment is building strong relationships with her candidates and clients. She enjoys getting to know candidates on a more thorough level to ensure that she can best match her candidates to local businesses that fit what they are looking for. People spend the majority of their lives in work so Sam believes helping somebody find an opportunity that can make them happier on a whole, is the most fulfilling part about her job.

Sam has the ability to touch her nose with her tongue! She is also known as the online shopping queen as you can guarantee that at least one parcel from ASOS will be delivered to the office every week.
