Out client a leading Telecoms and IT solutions provider is actively recruiting for an Installations Engineer to join their team due to growth.
Key Duties and responsibilities include;
Pre-sales to internal and client facing staff, design and installations on new IT Systems
Produce technical sales proposals and present the technical aspects to the customer, evidencing how their business needs will be met.
Create a project plan for implementation of technical solutions for the client and manage the project through to the go live phase, in line with budget and timescales
Ensure the delivery of each clients specific required remote or on site
Find potential products, evaluate and negotiate costs with suppliers
To provide day to day customer technical support to ensure solutions are provided
Ensure tickets are completed and closed down
Meeting daily, weekly and monthly KPI's
Technical audits to be carried out on request
Supporting internal systems, to enable the business to run smoothly
Skills and experience to include@
Ideally a minimum of 3 years IT industry experience
Strong technical skills, knowledge of Windows server 2003 and above, exchange server 2008 upwards, VMware SQL and RMM systems
Proven experience of Customer Service Management
Windows configuration and support experience
Experience in a field based environment covering pre-sales, first and second line support, project installations and management
