Accounts & Fleet Administrator - £20k - £25k, Keighley/Bradford

Due to relocation my client, a small to medium sized business which offers a niche service from their two companies across the audio visual supply/installation and live events sectors is looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator. Across both companies, they cultivate a friendly and open atmosphere where employees thrive and tend to stay. Reporting into the Finance Director and with additional responsibility of managing their fleet of company vehicles the accounts assistant will join their small group accounts team. Initially working near the centre of Bradford with easy access to the train and bus stations, the company will be relocating to their newly acquired site in Keighley, also with easy reach of the train and bus stations.

What you'll be doing:

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain all aspects of the day to day financial records including:
    • Sales ledger
    • Bank transactions
    • Debt management
    • Customer receipts
    • Purchase ledger
  • Administer all repairs and maintenance for company vehicles including:
    • Insurance, Tax, MOT and service requirements
    • Check and authorise fuel invoices,
    • Ensure driving policy is kept up to date with any legislation and law changes

What you'll need to do it:

  • Experience in an accounts related role
  • The ability to self-manage and self-motivate whilst working in a team
  • Good person management skills
  • The ability to take your own initiative
  • To be well presented
  • The flexibility to work occasional overtime as required
  • Attention to detail and a pride in their work
  • To be hard working and enthusiastic
  • Be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 would be an advantage
  • Previous experience of fleet administration would be an advantage
