Basic Salary £50,000- £55,000 plus £20,000 commission

The Business Development Manager role
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic business professional who is looking to develop their career with a market leader.

The ideal fit would be someone who has a self-starter mindset, a positive attitude and energy, motivated and driven to be successful. Whilst this role is heavily focused on generating new business opportunities, this role requires strategic account development and organic growth initiatives. You have an internal telesales team who generated leads and opportunities , you role is to visits and present the advantages of our software

This role will suit someone with relevant Software Sales , ERP or SAAS experience seeking to further their career in Sales

Key Responsibilities

* Effectively and independently delivering our software value proposition, including our technical value proposition, and demonstrating a high understanding of the product
* Developing a sustained pipeline of accounts by actively prospecting via cold-calls, marketing lead follow-up, personal relationships, executive introductions, and marketing automation introductions to independently close contracts at a close frequency and value to meet or exceed productivity and quota expectations.
* Developing, writing, and delivering value-based sales proposals
* Investigating the client's needs, and, through a strong and deep understanding of all our products, recommending the particular product(s) that best fulfils the identified needs.
* Articulating how the solution will fit and operate within the existing solution.
* Appropriately engaging management and staff in the sales cycle and provide ongoing feedback to other areas of the our organization.
* Negotiating contracts with clients
* Representing our business in a professional and ethical manner to clients, prospects, partners.

Desired Skills, Experience & Background

This role will suit someone with prior experience selling software.

* Ability to articulate value propositions to C-level executives
* Strategic account development through land and expand initiatives
* Dynamic presenter with the ability to communicate ideas using everyday language and energy
* Highly pro-active, passionate, tenacious and positive
* A keen contributor and team player that goes above and beyond the role
* Fluent written and spoken English
