I am recruiting for successful Manufacturing client who are very well established and based in Dukinfield. This is a great opportunity to work for a company with great values, a high standard of training and a good working environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Main Job; Tasks and Responsibilities

  • deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
  • respond promptly to customer enquiries
  • handle and resolve customer complaints
  • obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service enquiries
  • provide pricing and delivery information
  • research customer history, perform validity checks
  • set up new customer accounts
  • maintain customer databases
  • data cleanse and update customer information
  • process orders, forms, applications and requests
  • organize workflow to meet customer timeframes
  • direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
  • manage customers' accounts
  • keep records of customer interactions and transactions
  • record details of inquiries, comments and complaints
  • record details of actions taken
  • manage administration
  • communicate and coordinate with internal departments
  • communicate with external services ie carriers
  • follow up on customer interactions
  • provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process
  • engage in proactive sales activities and projects
  • maintain regular contact with external sales team partner
  • maintain a working knowledge of products, offers and services such as website & company literature
  • maintain an awareness of and uphold the companies ethos, culture and ethics.

Person specification

  • organised and accurate
  • great customer service skills as the customer is key
  • ability to prioritise work load
  • good IT skills
  • a technical background would be advantageous
