I am recruiting on behalf of my client who are an extremely successful manufacturing company who are based in Stockport. This company is very well established and has a fantastic reputation.

My client is recruiting for a Customer Service Representative for their team in Stockport and they are looking to pay upto £25,000 for the right candidate.

Purpose: Deliver excellent service to customers in line with service levels. Including telephone contact and order input, and working proactively to improve the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To answer all calls in a professional manner and to desired targets
  • To input and process all customer orders received within agreed target times
  • To proactively update customers on sales orders placed and deal with any customer queries in a timely manner
  • To record and manage customer complaints to a successful conclusion and within agreed timescales
  • To receive and record all necessary information from any potential new sales enquiry prior to passing onto the relevant account manager
  • To assist and liaise with other areas of the business as required
  • Appropriate administration tasks as required
  • To continually identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience
  • To greet and deal with visitors on site
  • Any additional tasks that reflect the business needs

Person Specification:

  • Strong customer experience and specifically experience of problem solving for customers
  • Experience building relationships with customers, with a focus on telephone contact
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Works well under pressure and embraces change
  • Effective communicator and team player, able to work well with people at all levels
  • Organised and methodical, with the ability to manage workload and priorities independently
  • Flexible to support the business during busy periods with extra hours and / or additional duties
  • Proactive with the ability and confidence to use initiative
