ICT Support Officer
Our client based in Wakefield is actively seeking an experienced ICT Support Officer to work within the education sector.
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated technical support specialist covering 1st and 2nd lines of support to join the ICT team.
The post will primarily manage requests to the ICT Helpdesk system from staff and pupils - in person, via email or telephone at our junior and senior schools.
There will also be the opportunity of providing cross Foundation support - working on initiatives and installations that impact the organisation.
Ideally you will require a minimum of twelve months' experience in a Windows 10 Desktop environment, as well as experience of general network administration through Active Directory, access control and security and the ability to diagnose problems and find solutions to new issues.
This position will be vital to the running of the organisation, applicants should be professional with a helpful attitude and have the ability to communicate clearly.
Experience of working with the following technologies would be beneficial but not essential; Capita SIMS, Google G-Suite, Apple iOS, Managed Learning Environments.
A recognised computer or network management qualification, e.g. NVQ level 3, Comptia A+, Windows Operating System is desirable.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check.
