Our client is currently seeking two exceptional HR professionals to join the regional team. One position is to cover the North and one for the South. This is a company that values and promotes from within. These roles are available for an immediate start for the right candidates.

Strategic People Planning

  • Understand and interpret the business strategy, Strategic People Plan and wider HR agenda in order to provide solutions with the HR Business Partner to support Managers in managing their people;
  • Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.

Knowledge and Opportunity

  • Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes;
  • Work with the Integration team to align businesses onto Cascade HR and Payroll system, providing full support and direction;
  • Support the business with ensuring that all data in Cascade is correct, including hierarchies, work with the business to continually cleanse data to ensure reporting is accurate;
  • Maintain a good knowledge of the legal requirements, internal and external, related to the day-to-day management of employees within the business, reducing legal risks, guaranteeing regulatory compliance, and most importantly enabling employee satisfaction and engagement

People Capability

  • Lead HR matters within the Region and ensure that all business HR leads are supported to deal with all employee relations cases;
  • Manage Employee Relations issues and situations through in-depth analysis and evaluation, resulting in recommendations and commercial solutions aligned to the businesses approach and HR practices. Proactively assess the root cause of employee relations trends and raise solutions;
  • Work with Managers to improve the performance of their teams, driving the understanding and application of a consistent and fair performance management process, using the appropriate capability processes;
  • Support for Satellite acquisitions to deliver all TUPE and M&A activity

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration

  • Build effective and trusted stakeholder relationships with internal HR teams and Managers to ensure awareness of all HR matters and working within the HR policies and processes;
  • Be able to influence and challenge key stakeholders where necessary;
  • Assess and mitigate HR Risks, escalating to the Head of People where appropriate;
  • Responsibility for running regular onsite HR workshops to provide line managers with information on latest employment law changes and how these will impact on their management responsibilities and existing policies and procedures

Culture and Behaviours

  • Drive cultural change across the businesses, through accountability for people management practice to ensure HR policy systems and procedures and embedded to enable high-performance cultures. Use a variety of different methods including implementing action plans following colleague survey, enabling managers to more effectively line manage their staff, strongly encouraging managers to take greater responsibility for their staff

Qualifications & Experience


  • Minimum 3 years generalist experience
  • Solid Employee Relations experience
  • Proven experience of managing multiple cases

  • Level 5 CIPD or working towards
  • Cascade HR experience
  • Multi-site/regional role
  • Working within a regulatory environment
