Our client based in the Halifax area is actively recruiting for a Stores Manager to take responsibility for the smooth running of the stores and management of a small team.
It is your responsibility to manage receipt of all goods and to ensure adequate stock levels to meet order requirements.
To ensure security of stores
To ensure all components are stored in the right place and safely
To ensure goods received are in in accordance with the the purchase order and not damaged
to arrange transfer of deliveries as required
Control delivery notes in line with company procedures
To ensure minimum stock levels are maintained
Liaise with suppliers to control stock
Liaise with production departments to forward plan
Monitor and manage the production flow by ensuring adequate stock for order levels.
To respond to all requests from sales/production teams
Ensure the KPI's are achieved
The ideal candidate will need proven experience within a similar role, excellent communication skills, excellent attention to details and Excel skills
